Limestone is a natural form ofCalcium Carbonate with extremely high whiteness, purity and free flowing innature. It is a sedimentary rock, composed mainly of skeletal fragments ofmarine organisms such as coral, forams and molluscs. Its major materials arethe calcite and aragonite, which are different crystal forms of calcium carbonate(CaCO3). Calcium carbonate is the main element in the limestone, followed bymanganese, iron and magnesium. Natural Limestone contains silica in differentproportions and is largely composed of Calcite Mineral. It is the raw materialfor the manufacture of quicklime (calcium oxide), slaked lime (calciumhydroxide), cement and mortar. The Limestone, which we provide, is alsoavailable in varied thicknesses.
