Ball Clay

Ball Clay / Plastic Clay is a sedimentary mineral which is most commonly known as ball clay which consist of kaolinite with a percentage in between 20 to 80 percent and mica in between 10 to 25 percent. It is available in solid spherical for with a size nearly equal to that of a golf ball. This earthy material is widely used in various industries such as ceramic manufacturing, tile making, as a refractory element for kiln insulation, as an electrical porcelain insulator and many more.
